NO FRILLS NO HILLS was always the motto for this race, but even in shifting to FUN FRILLS NO HILLS (beverage and food truck tickets being included in the price of registration are definitely FUN frills), we're keeping with tradition and adding a little frill in the form of open (one deep in F/M/NB) and masters (one deep in F/M) awards based on chip time accross both waves (tops and bottoms from lululemon Church Street Marketplace). Aside from that, if you win an age group, or if you run a PR, you earn bragging rights. Bragging rights are forever!
We have historically given out a much loved bottle opener finisher's medal, but we're planning to shake things up a bit for the 20th anniversary with a made in the U.S.A. medal that converts into a wooden coaster, to be used as a subtle conversation starter on your coffee table.
