This event is taking a year off due to Vermont Maple Open House Weekend falling on the same weekend as the Cross-Country World Cup in Lake Placid. We look forward to bringing this event back in 2027. The March Maple Mudder is a FREE kids fun run. The course will be between 1/3 to 1 mile in length. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, the course will be finalized and announced closer to the event. The fun run is for children aged 4-14 and starts at 10:00 am.
Spring Maple House Weekend is a weekend long event that takes place at over 90 sugarhouses all over Vermont and an opportunity for Vermont sugarers to welcome visitors to their sugar houses for a behind the scenes look at how Vermont's liquid gold is made! The sugaring event goes until 3:00 pm.
We welcome the whole family to come out to celebrate running saps! There will be a sugarhouse tour, syrup tastings, donuts and more!
Fun Run Info: The course will most likely be a dirt/gravel road. The children will be within view of a course monitor and/or the parents/guardians for the entirety of the run. Water will be available for the children at the end of the run.
We require a minimum of 25 children registered in order to have the event. Vermont's weather in March is highly variable and in order to provide a safe experience, this event is subject to cancellation. Please stay up to date with any emails we send out.
