Start:
We will be continuing with a two-wave format in 2027, with waves going off at 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM.
Bibs:
- Bibs can be picked up prior to race day at Skirack from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on both Thursday, April 8, and Friday, April 9.
- Bibs can also be picked up on race morning at 1 Main Street in Burlington starting at 7:00 am. Bibs will not be available at the start line!!
Buses & Parking:
- Buses will be available for runners who need transportation from 1 Main to the start at Airport Park in Colchester. Book your free bus pass when you register for the race (or contact us now to add, availability dependent).
- Free buses will also run between 1 Main St and the finish area on Flynn Ave during the race (9:00 am to 3:15 pm) for both spectators and participants.
- Buses are not available to bring finishers back to the start area at Airport Park after the race!
- We strongly encourage participants to use the bus system. The start area is challenging for private cars to get in and out of to drop participants off, low volume residential streets. In 2023-2025 a lot of participants got their own ride to the start and it created a massive traffic jam and some runners were late to the start. For 2027 we are continuing to utilize a drop-off location that will be more efficient for private vehicles but will require a fairly long walk to the start corral. Our bus system drops participants right at the start, please consider using it.
- No race parking is allowed at Switchback or the other businesses on Flynn Ave. Please help us respect our neighbors near the finish by minimizing race-related traffic in that area.
Parking in Downtown Burlington
Gear Check:
This is a point-to-point race with the option for gear to be transported from the start to the finish via bus. If you wish to use gear check you should bring a distinct-looking or well-labeled bag to the start. Shortly before the start you will be instructed to place your gear-check bag on a bus that will then transport the gear-check bags to the finish festival. RunVermont is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
Aid Stations:
- Delta Park Aid Station (~4 miles) - Water
- Leddy Park Aid Station (~7 miles) - Water and UnTapped All Natural Athletic Fuel Energy Gels (Pure Vermont Maple Syrup, Salted Cinnamon Spice, and Coffee varieties) and Lemon Tea Mapleaid Hydration
