We will be taking a hiatus from the Summer Series this year for: The Parkway Mile. Join us (and GMAA) instead for the shortest race on the longest day. Registration opens on May 26, 2026 at noon.
In 2025, we tried to take what is known and loved about our Freezy Cheeks 5k Winter Series and translate it to a summer series. We ventured out of Burlington for two races, with multiple distances, at locations outside of our usual stomping (running!) grounds. On Sunday, June 22, 2025 we were at Soulmate Brewing Company in Morrisville, VT along the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, and on Sunday, August 10, 2025 we were at Black Flannel Brewing Company in Essex, VT. Thank you to our race and series sponsors: Skirack, Chug Water, Vermont Brewers Association, Soulmate Brewing Company, Black Flannel Brewing Company. Essex Experience, L'ivresse Lingerie, and Vermont Cider Lab.
If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it at feedback@runvermont.org.

A note about registration fees: Starting with the Summer Series, RunVermont is no longer having participants pay the RunSignup transaction fee (flat fee plus a percentage of registration price). So while this race has a registration fee of $30 for one person and $50 for the two-person special or one person doing both races in the series, the fees are comparable to what a participant paid to register for RunVermont's Freezy Cheeks 5Ks. We hope that this is a welcome change--because we know how frustrating it is to see the price of something jump at checkout!--but please email us at feedback@runvermont.org with feedback.
