It takes HUNDREDS of volunteers to produce Vermont's largest sporting event of the year! Please join us May 28-30, 2027.
There is something for everyone: setting up down at the start/finish in Waterfront Park; helping runners get their bib and race shirt at the Sports & Fitness Expo; organizing bags at gear check; handing out water, Gatorade, UnTapped Energy Gels, and other food at aid stations; being the volunteer behind the relay exchange at a relay exchange zone; keeping participants, spectators, and the general public safe as a course monitor; helping participants get food at the finish-line festival; keeping recyclables, trash, and compost separated; and more.
All volunteers get a volunteer shirt and access to the finish-line festival for complimentary food and beverage. We'll also be doing giveaways each week throughout 2026 and you have more chances to win the earlier you sign up to volunteer.
Thanks to our generous Course Monitor sponsors, all 2026 Course Monitors received a Provisions Sack with goodies from some of the following to keep them hydrated and energized while they kept participants, spectators, and the general public safe.
