Awards

General

Age Group awards will be available in June once results are official.

Awards will be given for the Top 3 men and women in age categories:
16–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80+

Awards are based on Gun Time, not Chip Time. The People's United Bank Vermont City Marathon does not displace when giving awards.

Marathon Relay Awards

Relay awards will be available to winners once results are official in June.

2 Person Relay Awards

  • Awards are given to both runners on the first place team in the following categories.
  • Awards are based on gun time, not chip time.
  • The exchange by teams registered in this category must be made in the 2 Person Relay Exchange Zone at Oakledge Park.

Men’s Open – both runners are male
Women’s Open – both runners are female
Mixed Open – one male runner, one female runner

Men’s Masters – both runners are male, both runners are 40+
Women’s Masters – both runners are female, both runners are 40+
Mixed Masters – one male runner, one female runner, both runners are 40+

Men’s Grand Mountaineer – both runners are male, both runners are 55+
Women’s Grand Mountaineer – both runners are female, both runners are 55+
Mixed Grand Mountaineer – one male runner, one female runner, both runners are 55+

3-5 Person Relay Awards

  • Awards are given to all runners on the first place team in the following categories and sub-categories.
  • Awards are based on gun time, not chip time. 3-5 Person Relay teams may have 2 to 5 runners.
  • All exchanges by teams registered in this category MUST be made in the 3-5 Person Relay Exchange Zones.

Men’s Open – all runners are male
Women’s Open – all runners are female
Mixed Open – at least one runner of each gender

Junior Boys – all runners are male, all runners are 17 or younger
Junior Girls – all runners are female, all runners are 17 or younger
Junior Mixed – at least one runner of each gender, all runners are 17 or younger

Men’s Masters – all runners are male, all runners are 40+
Women’s Masters – all runners are female, all runners are 40+
Mixed Masters – at least one runner of each gender, all runners are 40+

Men’s Grand Mountaineer – all runners are male, all runners are 55+
Women’s Grand Mountaineer – all runners are female, all runners are 55+
Mixed Grand Mountaineer – at least one runner of each gender, all runners are 55+
