Miles for Migraine will be in VT to host a 2-mile Walk and 5K & 10K Run. This Fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research will take place Saturday September 29, 2018 at 9:00AM. All funds raised will benefit the University of Vermont Medical Center’s Headache Clinic to support the headache fellowship program & research.

Wear pink to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A Dragonheart Vermont event to support breast cancer survivors. Dragonheart Vermont strives to strengthen and empower breast cancer survivors and supporters through the challenging sport of dragon boating instilling in its members the values of teamwork fitness and community giving.
This is a family-friendly event that is open to the whole community. It includes a one-mile kids’ fun run, a 5K race, and a festival of food and games. A new addition to the festival this year is a kickball tournament organized by Montpelier middle school students. Registration for the fun run is free but participants are asked to set a fundraising goal of $25. Registration fees for the 5K race are $10 per student or $25 per adult runner.
