Looking for a fun way to get your long run in on April 13?
If you are training for the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon chances are you need to get a 20 mile run in on the weekend of April 13. A fun way to do this would be to sign up for Half Marathon Unplugged and add some extra miles to the race by running to the start.
Why use a race as a part of your long run?
Practice your pacing
Practice eating and drinking while in a race environment. Aid Stations on course stocked with All Natural Athletic Fuel from Untapped.
If you are new to racing, you can practice running with 900 of your closest friends!
Practice your pre-race port-let strategy.

Register for Race at www.runvermont.org
Pick up your race bib at SKIRACK April 10-12. New for 2019 – Mail My Packet option (must register by March 31).
Park at One Main on race day and run out to the start (6-7 miles). Follow one of these suggested routes.
Make sure to allot enough time to run at and easy pace.
Check clothing you would like to shed before the race on the Gear Check Bus.
Keep yourself moving to stay warm.
Line up at Race Start, and away you go!
Finish the race knowing you got a great long run in.
Grab your gear from gear check tent, and now it’s time to refuel!
Take our Shuttle Bus back to your car at One Main.
