Come join us for a fun-filled morning of running and excitement as RunVermont will host the 18th Annual Youth Running Event, known as the Timberlane Dental Mini Marathon. Children ages 4 to 14 can come and share in the excitement on the day prior to the People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon & Relay. Distances include a Half-Mile and One-Mile Fun Runs as well as a Two-Mile timed event.

Distances & Divisions:
Half-Mile: open to children ages 4-14, an adult may participate with the child in this distance
One-Mile: open to children ages 4-14
Two-Mile: Open to children ages 9-14, must be 9 years old by 5/23/20. This is an opportunity for older children to participate in a competitive event. Awards to Top 3 Boys and Girls in each age category: Age 9/10, 11/12, 13/14.

Join our fantastic volunteer team and help support 800 youth runners. There are variety of tasks available such as bib pick-up, course monitor, and finish line.
Free Valet Bike Parking at Waterfront Park
How does it work? It’s like a coat check for your bike. Runners, volunteers, and spectators can drop off their bike (or stroller, scooter, trailer, etc.) at one of the Valet Bike Parking locations to make bicycling convenient, reduce traffic congestion and vehicle emissions. Trained staff and volunteers will watch your bicycle so you can enjoy the Mini Marathon. Avoid the fuss…and leave your bike with us! Mini Marathon Bike Parking opens at 7:30am and closes at 11:30am; all bikes must be picked up by 11:30am. Location: Lake Street, off of College Street at Waterfront Park.
