2026 Brain Freezer 5K
Sat 09/12 10AM – 12PM
The Brain Freezer 5K returns to Burlington's Lake Champlain bike path, running between North Beach Park and Waterfront Park. Racers cover half the course, pause for a full pint of Vermont-made ice cream at a pit stop in Waterfront Park, then finish the final stretch (fun runners aren't required to finish the pint). Awards are given for best individual and team costumes. All proceeds benefit People Helping People Global, a Vermont nonprofit providing interest-free microloans to people living in poverty.
