Jamie is an avid marathoner.  For the past 12 months, she has run at least one marathon each month and she qualified for Boston along the way. Eventually she would like to run a marathon in each state, but the Vermont City Marathon remains a favorite.   In addition to her own running, Jamie has helped to motivate others to run for fun and to improve their health.  Jamie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Vermont in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics and went on to complete her Master of Science degree in dietetics in 2013.  She is presently the Director of Nutrition at The Edge Sports & Fitness where she also doubles as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. As a registered dietitian, Jamie regularly works with endurance athletes to develop day to day meal plans as well as fueling plans to optimize performance.
