Funny what 24 hours can do to a weather pattern.
Here at race headquarters we are deep in the process of digging through emails, lost and found items, results and photographs. We have lots of wonderful images and messages to share with you, but first, the details…
Lost and Found: Our office is rapidly filling with bags that were left unclaimed as well as loose clothing that was left in the parks or around the course.
We’ll be in touch with you if we come across a bag with your bib number or name on it, however if you’re searching for something that wasn’t in a marked bag please email Lisa (firstname.lastname@example.org) with a description of what you’re missing. We’ll be in touch if we find it. Lost and found items will not be stored after June 3, 2013.
Did you get the correct medal? We understand that some runners received the wrong medal and that some Marathoners did not receive a medal at all. We’re very sorry and offer our most sincere apologies. Please know that we will ensure that every runner who crossed the finish line within the 6:30 hour limit will receive the appropriate medal.
If you did not receive a medal or received the wrong medal (e.g Marathon medal instead of a 2-person relay medal), please email us at email@example.com. If you have already emailed us, you are on our list. If you’re inclined, we would greatly appreciate it if anyone who received an incorrect medal dropped it off or mailed it to us so we can redistribute it. Our physical and mailing address is: RunVermont, One Main Street, Suite 304 Burlington VT 05401.
We will announce plans and a timeline for delivering medals by Monday, June 3. Thank you for your patience.
Unofficial results are posted! It will take us sometime for the results to become official. If you’re concerned about the result posted for you, please email Joe (firstname.lastname@example.org) and provide the following information: Name, bib number, description of what you were wearing, any data you recoded about your time, the names and bib numbers of anyone you were running with. We will get back to you as soon as possible. This post provides a very good overview of the process of finalizing results and why it takes longer than you might think.
We had more photographers on our course than ever before! MarathonFoto was our official event photographer. They caught individual photos of every runner. Karen Pike and Steve Mease also shot throughout the day. Links to all the galleries are available here.
