We are incredibly pleased to announce the artist for the Official Poster of the 2012 KeyBank Vermont City Marathon is…

…dug Nap!

Locals will surely recognize dug’s bright, whimsical and often laugh-inducing work.  Here’s one great (and remarkably accurate) example:

dug is currently the artist of the month at Frog Hollow on Church Street (you can catch him creating art in the window as he reclines on his specially designed ‘art bed’). dug, his work and his bed were all featured last night featured on WCAX.

We were thrilled when dug signed on to be our artist of the year. We just knew that whatever he came up with, it was going to be GOOD.  And disappoint, he did not.  Here’s a preview of this year’s official KeyBank Vermont City Marathon poster:

The poster (and 3″x5″ magnets) will be available for sale at the Sport & Fitness EXPO on May 25 and 26. dug will be available to sign the posters at his own EXPO booth, where the original painting used for the poster will also be for sale. If you miss the EXPO, you can find the poster and magnets at the KBVCM Merchandise Tent in Waterfront Park on May 27.

Wish you could get your hands on a copy of the poster RIGHT NOW? You can. Almost. At the suggestion of a wise friend, we created the image below for you to download and use as your desktop wallpaper. To do that, simply right-click on the image, ‘save image as’ and set as your wallpaper.

We recognize that taste is personal, but we hope you like the poster as much as we do.

I don’t even know the way I finished up here, however I thought this put up was good.
I do not recognize who you might be but definitely you’re
going to a famous blogger for those who aren’t already.
Cheers!
