I am hoping that this year we will not have to run in rain jackets and thermal underwear. It was so wet and cold yesterday. My relay team has some awesome bright shirts made up. It’s all about drawing attention.

I’m going with neon teal/blues and hoping for nice weather! It’s my first marathon so I’m preparing for Mother Nature and the challenges along the way! Looking forward to next weekend :)

I am going to wear a pink S/S shirt and polka for shorts. Hopefully a cute pink hair bow to match. I love hair bows. I am very much looking forward to May 25th!!! Good luck everyone.

Playing it safe…picked out a few favorite/long run tested pieces to bring. I’ll decide that morning what will work best!

7 Jessica O'Neill May 15, 2014 at 2:44 pm

Playing it safe… First marathon so safe is the best route for me!

8 Heather May 15, 2014 at 2:45 pm

I’ll be sporting my bright pink Sparkle Athletic skirt so that I can be sure my friends and family see me!

9 Kelly May 15, 2014 at 2:59 pm

Wearing Neon green!!

10 Mike May 15, 2014 at 3:02 pm

“Plain Jane”.. compression shorts, darn tough socks, compression calf tubes and hopefully a tank top this year with sunglasses.. and my “Lebron” sweatband. Hoping for the perfect 60° sunny race day!! Woo Hoo

Blue UA running shorts, Blue Mizuno Wave Sayanora’s and either Red or Yellow Muscle shirt(which I don’t have muscles to fill it). Depends on if I am feeling Patriotic or going Boston Strong since I ran in 2013(finished too) oh and My Bald Head and a Smile :)

12 Pat May 15, 2014 at 3:26 pm

Every year the relay team dresses up with matching shirts. Some years the shirts have had our names or team name on them. This year we are wearing HOT HOT HOT pink tanks with matching pink socks. The socks say SOLE SISTER on them…our team name. We are getting our nails done in HOT pink on Friday night after the EXPO. This is the first time in a number of years that we don’t have guys on the team. Good thing, eh? Don’t think they would go for the pink nails?

13 Tim May 15, 2014 at 3:30 pm

I’ll be plain Tim, note to self, got to work on getting better race gear!

14 Mike Luneau May 15, 2014 at 3:40 pm

My wife designed and had printed team shirts just for KBVCM. We’ll have our team name, a runner logo, and on the back “Run with the cows in VR”

15 Corey B May 15, 2014 at 3:50 pm

If I was able to race this year it would be my spring racing uniform: brooks, wicking shorts and wicking tea, but the most important item I’ve learned the hard way, is Glidestick!

For my clothing I’ll be “Plain Jane”, but as for my sneakers and hair accessories…let’s just say you’ll notice them!

18 Liza May 15, 2014 at 4:11 pm

Hot pink Asics!

19 ali May 15, 2014 at 5:42 pm

can’t decide what to wear until the night before. 80 or 40 degrees makes a big difference…… but running shoes for sure!

20 ali May 15, 2014 at 5:43 pm

21 Kevin May 15, 2014 at 5:45 pm

Depends on the weather but definitely something I have worn before and know won’t cause any issues.

Bright colors all the way…always have been a bright colored person! This is my first year running a 2 person relay…I’ve always run the full so I’m excited to do a bit more spectating and cheering!

I’m wearing my tutu and a tiara. I just haven’t decided which tutu to wear. They make me feel happy and there are always times during a marathon that I need to find that happy feeling.

27 Shane May 15, 2014 at 7:34 pm

Bright colors, with my Run Vermont socks! And possibly something for Autism awareness :-)

28 alison frye May 16, 2014 at 7:20 am

playing it safe is the way to go for me. i’m so slow that I don’t want to draw any extra attention to myself.

29 alison May 16, 2014 at 7:20 am

I keep it plain jane – except for the socks. I like a little hint of brightness at the feet.
