in Giveaway Thursday!

Congratulations to last week’s Giveaway Winner Gail Pelk! She won a pair of Run Harder-Run Longer Tech Gloves and a pair of RunVermont Knee Socks!

I am sure that one of the many things you are looking forward to on race day are the cheers from the crowd. We have some of the best spectators around, so you can expect some serious enthusiasm! I love when people say “You look great!” (even when I know full well I look HORRIBLE!). One of my favorite all time signs is “Smile if you’re not wearing any underwear”. Anything to keep my mind off of the fact that I have many miles left to cover.MVP RGB We want to hear from you: What do you want to hear or see when you are on on the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon course on race day?
The winner will receive a LL Bean Adventure Bag, courtesy of MVP Health Care.

9 Olivia April 10, 2014 at 10:58 am

This will be my 6th Marathon. I can tell you my favorite sign is always, “Finish Line”. I’m looking forward to seeing that one this year too!

One of my favorites was “The last marathon I completed was on Netflix last weekend”. Anything with a little humor goes a long way.

I want someone to make a sign that says “I read your blog on RunVermont, you’re awesome!” Just kidding…a sign (or yell) of “Run, Forrest, Run” would make me smile. Forrest Gump for the win!

30 Heather April 11, 2014 at 7:04 pm

“I’m sure it seemed like a good idea 4 months ago!”

31 Lesley April 11, 2014 at 8:03 pm
