in Giveaway Thursday!

So explain to me this: how is it possible that running at this temperature:

felt so much warmer than typing in my office at this temperature?

It doesn’t make sense, but it’s true. A full 72 degree increase and yet I’m so cold that my fingers are numb, and as a result they’re tripping over the keyboard keys (I’ve spent more type correcting spelling than actually writing), but they were toasty warm on my run.  As were my toes. Really, only my eyeballs were cold. Probably because I was growing icicles on my eyelashes.

Maybe I can figure out a way to work while running.  If I weren’t so treadmill-adverse, I’d start begging for one of these:

Seems fitting, no?

My 2013 resolution is to run the San Diego marathon in June faster than the first time I did! Also, to fit in a daily quiet time with God. :)

One of my goals for the year is to slowly build up my running in my new Vibrams and hopefully run the 2 person relay in them in May!

I am trying to eat primal, and get to the gym twice a week. And start the new group core class!! This is a race we are doing with a friend who trained us for our first marathon in 2005!!
