So explain to me this: how is it possible that running at this temperature:
felt so much warmer than typing in my office at this temperature?
It doesn’t make sense, but it’s true. A full 72 degree increase and yet I’m so cold that my fingers are numb, and as a result they’re tripping over the keyboard keys (I’ve spent more type correcting spelling than actually writing), but they were toasty warm on my run. As were my toes. Really, only my eyeballs were cold. Probably because I was growing icicles on my eyelashes.
Maybe I can figure out a way to work while running. If I weren’t so treadmill-adverse, I’d start begging for one of these:
