Good things come to those who risk embarrassment! Congratulations to AMBER who won last week’s Giveaway for complimentary access to our Marathon/Half-Marathon 201 class! A special thank you to everyone who shared their stories of creating bathroom facilities on the run. Absolutely smile worthy.
One of my favorite series here on The RunDown is This Rookie’s Ramblings. This Rookie’s Ramblings is written by one runner each year who is training for their very first marathon. This year we’re recruiting our Rookie a little differently, and thanks to Green Mountain Running Medicine Shop, we’re able to offer more, too. If the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon will be YOUR first Marathon and you’re willing to share all the gory details…the ups and downs of training, the funny things you learn along the way, the questions that pop up on your 6am 5-miler, we want to hear from you. Pop on over here to learn more how we’re selecting this year’s Rookie.
This week we’re giving away KeyBank Vermont City Marathon running cap. The hat comes in several different colors. It’s comfortable and adjustable and suitable for both men and women.

If I could run anywhere, I would in Colorado! I know that sounds boring, but I absolutely fell in love when I was there for my honeymoon. I didn’t get a chance to run at all and I would love to run through it’s beauty.
