How and When to Begin Training for KBVCM

Last year on The Run Down, our friends at OnTrack offered training tips throughout the marathon training season.  We’re thrilled to welcome Brian Loeffler, Jess Cover, Kelly Liljebad and Ray Webster of OnTrack back to the blog this season.  Thanks to the awesome folks at PMG we’re stepping it up a notch with video.

Wondering when and how to begin your training for the 2011 KeyBank Vermont City Marathon? Get the scoop from Jess Cover:

Jess is a seasoned runner with a marathon PR of 3:05.05. This includes eight KeyBank Vermont City Marathons. Jessica is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer at ON TRACK Health & Fitness, coaches the South Burlington High School Girls’ Cross Country Team and teaches RunVermont’s Marathon 101 class.*

*Registration for Marathon 101 opens December 1!

Thanks Jess for the inspiration! I have convinced a few first timers to run the 2011 Marathon this year!
