Vermont Remembers



RunVermont provides registration and timing services only for this event.

Presented by NGA-VT and Sponsored by Century 21 Jack Associates.  This event benefits the VT National Guard Fallen Soldier Memorial at Camp Johnson.  The race begins and ends at Camp Johnson.  Both  events are open to the public.

86th IBCT Satellite Race
Soldiers from the 86th IBCT will be running with us from Afghanistan on 9/11.  You can show your support by donating a t-shirt to the Soldiers of the 86th IBCT.  The shirt will have a unique design, and all profits will go to the Fallen Soldiers Memorial.

Volunteers are being sought for assisting in the organization and execution of this event.  Interested individuals or groups should contact the event staff.

Ruck March Division Qualifications
•    Ruck March Individual: 1 person, carrying 35 lb ruck sack
•    Ruck March Team*,**: 2-6 people, each carrying 35 lb ruck sack
•    Ruck March Platoon Team*,**:  minimum of 7 (or more, no maximum), each carrying 35lb sacks.

Ruck March Participants will walk/run on the same course as the runners/walkers.  Ruck March Participants can compete in three categories:

* Each team/platoon is required to finish together with 5 seconds.
** Ruck teams are required to list their team members and leader/OIC (Officer in Charge) prior to leaving the start point.  The OIC must also be listed in your registration form.

Check out past Vermont Remembers Results; this year's results will be posted once they are official.

Registration
Online registration closed Friday, August 27, 2010.  Registrations will be accepted by mail or on race day as long as the race is not full.  Please download the registration form and mail it or bring it with you on race day with cash or check (payable to NGA-VT).

Note: Each participant must register individually; no group registrations.  Valid photo identification is required prior to starting the race. 

There is a limit of 500 participants

$22.50 10k run/walk/wheels
$15.00 1 mile youth fun run
$10 unisex cotton shirt in youth sizes (Shirt size is guaranteed until 8/27 and available on a first-come/first-served basis after 8/27)
$15 unisex tech t-shirt in adult sizes (Shirt size is guaranteed until 8/27 and available on a first-come/first-served basis after 8/27)
Any race shirts purchased will be available at packet pickup on race day.
