The 3rd Annual MOVE YOUR BUNS 5K FUN RUN & WALK on SATURDAY JUNE 1, 2013 at 9:00 AM Rain or shine. Registration will take place from 8:00-8:45 AM at Green Mountain Kids located at 21 Munson Ave, next to Turning Heads Salon. The main purpose for this event is to promote having fun and getting fit, while supporting a great Kids program that serves children ages 3-12 throughout Lamoille County. This is an opportunity to unite runners and walkers of every level, ability and interest, promoting friendship and camaraderie among the running community. Green Mountain Kids also wants to invite members of the community in to see their facility, meet the staff and get to know our program. The run/walk will be a 5K and for children who are participating, there will be a shorter loop around the Industrial Park. This is a Fun Run, which means that itâs not an official event. Registration fee is $20.00 per adult and $7.00 for Children under 12. The first 25 adults & 25 children that register will be given a free T-shirt. Stay after the race and purchase a quiche brunch! Proceeds will go toward the purchase of outdoor equipment for Green Mountain Kids, helping to keep our kids active while having fun!

Saturday, June 08, 2013 - 8:30 AMColchester Causeway 5K/15KChoose to run either the 5K or 15K and enjoy the scenic Colchester Causeway. This race will begin at Airport Park, following a gravel trail out onto the historic Causeway, where runners will make their way to designated turn-around points on the Causeway before returning to the finish at Airport Park.
This race will take place on flat gravel and dirt trails surrounded by diverse wetlands, scenic views and Lake Champlain.
Proceeds will help maintain and improve the Colchester Causeway for future generations.
T-shirt & post race refreshments included.
