I would like to know what I can eat and drink at the aid stations and the after the race party for the marathon. This will help me to know what to pack and bring for myself. Thank you. Penny

Hi Penny-

Our regular aid stations will have Vermont Pure spring water and Gatorade Endurance Formula, lemon-lime flavor. Aid stations at miles 11.1 and 18.6 will have Clif Shot gels (various flavors, some with caffeine and some without), as well as food such as oranges, bananas, Chex Mix, pretzels, and bagel chunks.

The post-race Runner's Food tent, supported by Hannaford and Stonyfield Farm, will have a wide variety of typical post-race food. At this time the menu is still a work in progress, so if there is anything in particular you'd like to see please feel free to contact our office at info@runvermont.org.

Best wishes for your training-see you next month!
