King of the Hill, Queen of the HillIV pic 2 Many of you might be expecting a flat course in the Champlain Islands, and for the most part, that's what you will find. However, you may be surprised when you find a short but attention grabbing climb in the third mile. As soon as the course turns the corner onto Sunset View Road you will start the ascent, upon cresting the top of the hill you will want to look for the signs that designate the KING & QUEEN OF THE HILL intermediate prize. The first man and first woman to pass that point will be designated as the King of the Hill and the Queen of the Hill and be awarded a prize.

Awards and finish times will be posted near the finish area, awards announced at 11:30am. Merchandise and Vending Make sure to visit the RunVermont Merchandise Tent to check out the new RunVermont and Island Vines Apparel.
