Debbie and I love running in Vermont and enjoy running the Vermont City Marathon. I have run them all since 1989. Debbie is also an accomplished ultra-runner and triathlete. She's run several Ironman’s around the USA, Hawaii and ultra-events in Peru, Chili, Galapagos Islands to name a few. I joined her travels in 2007 running in the Iceland marathon, then Costa Rica endurance trail stage race, Colorado’s Wild West 200-mile 3 person relay, Croatia 40 miler, Tuscany Crossing and Mount Diablo 50ks, the Trans Rockies across Colorado and TransAlpine race across the Alps 6 times which meant running through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Northern Italy, Tirol,and Dolomite mountains.
Ultra-Trail running has become our passion. There is so many to choose from. California’s Mt Diablo 50k, Arizona’s Mesquite Canyon 50k and our favorite one right here in Goshen, Vermont called the Moosalamoo ultra and half- marathon. We are currently scheduled to run our 7th TransAlpine Run in September 2018. Join our 5hr 30min pace group this year for another 26.2 mile run through scenic Burlington, Vermont, but remember, you will have to bring your own snacks.
