It takes over 1700 volunteers to make the magic of People’s United Bank Vermont City Marathon happen. And many of those volunteers staff our AMAZING aid stations!

Volunteering at an Aid Station is a great team-building experience and a fun way to earn community service hours.

If your group is interested in adopting an Aid Station or for more information, please e-mail volunteer@runvermont.org.

How many volunteers does it take to run a Marathon Aid Station?

10-35 people. It really depends on the location of the Aid Station. Aid Stations located earlier in the course need more volunteers because more runners are coming through at the same time.
